Back in March, I had the chance to interview Spencer Ludwig for an artist spotlight. Going into the interview I knew him as the trumpet player for Capital Cities, but coming away from it I quickly grew to accept and respect him as his own man and musician.
Ludwig had told me during our interview that a solo deal with Warner Bros. was in the works, but that we could not speak on it at that time. Well, nearly two months later, and the deal has officially been announced. Congratulations, Spencer!
We found out about the deal through an email blast, which read as follows:
“Today I am proud to announce that I’ve officially signed to Warner Bros. Records as a solo artist! I am so grateful to the label for believing in me and to my family, friends and fans who have supported me and inspired me to pursue this journey. Stay tuned…”
Stay tuned we will. Follow Spencer Ludwig on JamFeed for all of his latest news and releases. His Warner Bros. debut is in the works, and judging by what he told me about it in his artist spotlight, it’s going to kick serious ass. Congrats again, Mr. Ludwig.
